The Learning Tea

We Brew Scholars

Our mission is to provide life scholarships to impoverished young women in India by giving them the opportunity to continue their education through university. The Learning Tea pays for complete tuition and living costs for our young scholars while providing a safe and stable dormitory living environment.










Daniella Korwek

Daniella Korwek is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia where she majored in Sociology and African Studies. She has international experience with several nonprofits all over the United States and her passions include human rights, women’s empowerment and universal education. Through her position as event intern she aims to create an even larger audience for The Learning Tea’s incredible endeavors, and create the ability for the program to grow, expand and thrive sustainably.  She loves spending her free time backpacking, camping, reading, and seeing live music and comedy.

Audrey is a sophomore at Grady High School. She has been visiting Dr. Bombay's since her family moved to Atlanta from New York over nine years ago. Her family is an important part of The Learning Tea community and both of her parents have traveled to India with us in the past. Audrey will be helping us with several different projects this summer, including book sale promotion and garden upkeep.
